    The software offered as standard for all moorFLPI customers has been twice refined by our in-house software engineers using valuable customer feedback.

    moorFLPI V3.0 PC software is used as a dedicated package to acquire, analyse and export data from the moorFLPI system.

    Various acquisition modes are available including

    • live video imaging (spatial mode - 25 frames per sec, full field)
    • high resolution imaging (temporal mode – 1 frame per sec with 25 x normal spatial resolution)
    • repeat imaging (variable sample rate)
    • single imaging and
    • live monitoring from up to 16 regions of interest within the image. These can all run simultaneously

    Comprehensive analysis is available to ease quantification of changes over time (e.g. due to heating, pressure changes or vasoactive drug intervention, or to allow comparisons in flow within the same image at one time point (e.g. wound healing model).

    Export functions allow you to present your data conveniently in different ways (statistically, graphically or as a video).

    A new live video preview window is provided for convenient subject positioning/ focus in very high resolution mode. New Auto Gain mode for easy gain setting. Ability to scale image display relating more precisely to the area viewed in absolute terms – extends to ROI area calculations.


    Enhanced display options with new palettes for optimal image display, including 6, 16, 2 x 256 colour and 256 grey scales. A new grid overlay can be overlaid on images and graphs to help orientate a place of interest. Zoom function added to allow up close views of the image or graph trace. New flux image overlay pastes part of the flux image over the related photo image.


    Enhanced video functions have been added with replay bar for variable speed image video playback. Editing functions to trim and refine large data sequences. Single or multiple image frames can be deleted from a review window. All resulting video files can be saved to AVI format.


    Enhanced (post capture) review and analysis of live moorFLPI images with faster display performance during review processes (enhanced graphic display algorithm). A combination of 16 ROIs (square, circle/ elipse and polygon) and 16 Line ROIs can be used on any open image. Over 200 markers can be inserted into all measurement data either during or after image capture to allow relevant time points to be defined for statistical analysis. A new averaging function allows a number of images in the sequence to be averaged (as a baseline for example) to one image and used in a user-chosen position in the sequence.


    Additional Export/ Editing functions include: -

    • Graph average flow values in user defined ROIs
    • A live measurement can be redefined (delete frames, re-order or change sample rate) and saved to a new file
    • Automatic report generation for print or export to other file formats (PDF, XML, etc.)
